President Trump backed down from disbanding the advisory task force with pubic health experts after a public outcry.
The death toll in the US has reached 70,000. Despite this, people in many states, sometimes armed, and publicly egged on by Trump, are demanding social distance laws are revoked. They’re desperate for their wages, I suppose, and believe this virus is just a hoax. Perhaps the slaughter hasn’t touched them.
Trump said about his change of mind:
I didn’t realise it was so popular.

Tonight, I’m looking forward to an advanced zoom tango class with Uma. Classic tango songs are about living with despair, dancing despite doom. This is Uma in his lounge room dancing his routine for tonight – you can only access it if you’re on Facebook.
Longing to do it like him will inspire me to practise.
